Ashton Howard is in her second year at Cameron University as Associate Athletic Director for NCAA Compliance/SWA. Ashton came to Cameron from Missouri S&T where she served as Assistant Athletic Director for NCAA Compliance.

Ashton is originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She attended Clarendon College where she was a starting pitcher for 2 years, receiving the NJCAA All-Star position for pitching and helped get her team to the first ever conference tournament appearance her freshman year and Northwestern Oklahoma State University where she also pitched for 2 years. Ashton has her Bachelor’s degree in Health and Sports Science from NWOSU and she received 2 Master’s Degree from East Central University in Sports Administration and Special Education.

Ashton is married to head softball coach Bryan Howard and they have two little boys.
