Cameron University Athletics

2018-19 (Senior):
- In her final season at CU, averaged an 80.95 over 19 rounds.
- Tied for 11th with a 150 at the Tarleton Invitational, shooting a 74 in the first round. 
- Also shot a season-low 74 in the second round of the Mustang Intercollegiate. 
- Finished in the top-25 three times with a 23rd place finish at the Concho River Classic.

2017-18 (Junior):
- Wheeler recorded 18 rounds of play during her junior year, averaging 79.83 strokes for 18 holes of play.
- She had four top-25 finishes and two in the top-10.
- Finished third at the OBU Fall Invite with a 148 and then had a season low 146 with a 10th place finish at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate.
- Her low round of the season came in the first 18-holes at OBU when she shot a 70. 

2016-17 (Sophomore):
- Placed in the top-20 twice this season while shooting 80.29 as a stroke average in 17 rounds.
- Finished in 12th at the LSC Championships with a 155.
- Shot a season low 152 at the WNMU Mustang Intercollegiate.

2015-16 (Freshman):
- In her collegiate debut, she finished in 35th place at the Hawks Creek Invitational with a score of 249 (88,82,79).
- Placed fifth at the OBU Fall Invite with a 153 (75, 78).
- At the Texoma Chevy Dealers Intercollegiate (3/7), she tied for 16th place shooting an 83, and having an invite high 11 pars.

High School: 
- A four year varsity letter winner at Lindale HS (Lindale, Texas).
- Won medalist honors as a senior at the District 16-5A golf tournament and helped the Lady Eagles place second.   
- During the summer prior to her senior season she won two tournaments and placed second in four other events in the PGA Northern Texas Section Junior Tour.
- Member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:
- Hometown of Lindale, Texas.
- Likes to listen to music, watch movies, and lay by the pool when not golfing. 
- Was in a bowling league when she was six. 
- Studying psychology at Cameron.
