Cameron University Athletics

McMahon Field and Athletics Center opened in the summer of 2013 and is the home of the Aggie Softball team and the athletic weight room. McMahon Field features bleacher seating for 300 fans, along with space for fans to bring their chairs along the right and left field lines. The Aggie softball locker room, offices, and storage are on the third baseline. Additionally, there are full concession stands, restroom faculties, and a large water fountain on display behind the press box. 

The Athletics Center features indoor hitting cages for baseball and softball, which can also convert to a turf space for warm-up, agilities, plyometrics, or medicine ball throws. A weight room specifically for student-athletes features 8 racks, 2 full racks of dumbbells ranging from 3 to 120 pounds, 8 trap bars, 7 safety squat bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, and bands, among other equipment. Strength and Conditioning Coach Ryan Flood and his staff provide athletes with workouts to increase athleticism, reduce the likelihood of injury, and maximize potential.
