Starting Spot: Toth along with Anthony Fierimonte (Assumption), Valentin Pepiot (Academy of Art), Michael Scott (LIU Post) will be starting the race in box 25, with Western Washington to the left, and Southern Indiana to the right.
Second ever: Toth is the second Aggie runner to reach the NCAA National Championships, the only other CU athlete to qualify was Julius Korir in 2009; he finished the 2009 race in 23rd place with a time at 32:06.1.
40 or higher: To earn USTFCCCA All-America status, a runner must finish in the top-40 at the national meet, to date Korir is the only Aggie runner to be named an All-American.
Looking back: Toth ran the season high 10,000 meter race in 32:26 to finish in ninth place and was first of three individuals on a non-advancing team to earn a berth to nationals; his time was good enough to earn him All-Region honors by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association.
Looking forward: Saturday's field will be put together with 32 teams and 24 individual runners, there is an 80% chance of morning rain, winds out of the NNE between 10-20 mph, with a high expected at 52F in Louisville.
