Box Score DENTON, Texas – A cold shooting night for the Aggie women resulted in a 69-41 loss at North Texas in exhibition play on Saturday night at The Super Pit.
Cameron used every player on their roster but shot 21% overall and only made two three-pointers against the Mean Green (6-7) who had three players in double-digit scoring.
The Aggies never led in the game but kept with North Texas for the first ten minutes of the game before allowing CU one made shot from the field in the last five minutes of the first half.
Despite the off-night shooting and 23 turnovers, Cameron with did continue their dominance off the glass by outrebounding North Texas 51 to 43.
Christina Caddy led the Aggies in scoring with 12 points and seven rebounds;
Noelle Kindred came up with seven points and had a steal.Â
Sasha Carter gave CU a boost with a team high nine rebounds.
Ash'Lynne Evans had a double-double for North Texas to lead the Mean Green with 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Cameron will open up their conference season at Eastern New Mexico on Wednesday at 6:30 pm.
