Kayla Hebert with their first career double-double performances.Â
"We had them out of their system for the entire match but weren't efficient enough on the offensive end," said head coach Doug Tabbert.Â
"There were opportunities for us in the second and third set but we didn't capitalize on some key plays. We started out 3-0 in the fifth set but it quickly got away from us in the end."
"Overall we did some descent things this weekend. We'll get some rest, and hopefully we will learn some things from our experience, and come out stronger next week."
Cameron as a team had a .089 attack percentage with 65 total kills and six blocks.Â
Kelle Carver led the Aggies with 21 kills; Terrell had 10 kills and 13 digs, while Hebert added 48 assists, and a match high 22 digs.
Southwest Baptist made their shots count in the decisive fifth set, tallying seven kills, and no errors. Nikki Madoch gave the Bearcats 16 kills and seven block assists. Hannah Blount added 18 digs for SBU.
Cameron will return to action on Friday, Sept. 13 for a pair of matches against Southern Nazarene and Southeastern Oklahoma in Durant.
