Brad BlumerBlumer earns Capital One Academic All-Region honors
June 13, 2012 Lawton, Okla. - Brad Blumer has earned Capital One Academic All-District honors in District 6 for his work in the classroom during the 2011-12 academic year. He is one of three baseball student-athletes in the Lone Star Conference who were named to this team.Blumer, a Sophomore from Mounds View, Minn., is a business major with a GPA of 3.88 and was named previously to the Lone Star Conference All-Academic team.
On the field for the Aggies, Blumer had an outstanding season starting in 46 games. He was also second on the team with 33 runs, fourth in hits (52), doubles (10), and fifth in batting average (.327).
