Lawson Finishes NCAA Tournament Tied for 39th

Trey Lawson posted a 4-over 76 in the final round of the NCAA DII NCAA National Golf Tournament today in Simpsonville, KY. Lawson finished the tournament in a tie for 39th place with scores of 71-74-76~221 (+5). Lawson, a junior from Holliday, TX, hopes to return next year with the entire Aggie team to compete for the team National Championship. This year's individual title was won by UCO's Josh Creel in a playoff with Jim Knous of Colorado School of the Mines, both posting a 10-under par for the 54-hole event. This concludes the 2011-2012 season for the Aggies.
