Cameron Tennis Latest to Suffer Winter Delays
February 3, 2011LAWTON, Okla. – Cameron University Head Tennis Coach James Helvey announced today that due to winter weather, the Cameron Aggies women’s tennis season will begin later than expected as Wednesday’s match with Collin College has been cancelled.The Aggies will now compact their three-match, three-day Texas road trip into a single day with two matches at the University of Texas at Arlington and Dallas Baptist. Cameron will first take on UT-Arlington at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 5 at the Maverick Tennis Center before heading to Grand Prairie to face Dallas Baptist at the Keist Park Tennis Center at 3 p.m.
Aggie Tennis begins home match play March 1 as the women host Lone Star Conference rival East Central.
